About

I was always the weird one, the different one – a little too dorky and not very cool. I was the youngest of 3 children, and both of my older siblings were super cool athletes all throughout school.

Cool thing is, I didn’t really care – I was a lone creature, traveling through my mind lost in space and time. I took to writing for my salvation, and she has been a true friend. Taking me with her on many a journey, near and far. That turned out to be a good thing for this weird child, 30 years later I still write and imagine and dream.

The most beautiful result has been watching and listening to my two amazing children (and several adopted ones) who are leaders, artists, writers and musicians … but more importantly, most importantly they are dreamers with wickedly wild imaginations. They inspire me to keep at it, and write my heart out.

So here I sit, making my world whatever I dream it to be. In writing, I find a place to harness the voices in my head and lasso ideas in my imagination. The ever increasing loudness of life is seldom quieted less I spill words onto the page. So I write … ringing my senses and wandering mind back to ground level.

If you have read this far, thank you. May we inspire each other, learn from each other and remember always to allow our minds to soar wherever life takes us, head all up in the clouds! šŸ˜‰

  1. Hi Neecee,
Love what you said about the ever increasing loudness of life being quieted by writing. I totally agree. I’m also a writer, and sometimes you just have to lock yourself away and put your feelings down on paper / screen. Sounds like you lead an interesting life with lots of kiddos around. They also make life noisy, but in a good way. (Is it just me or does it seem like you can hardly converse in restaurants any more? TOO LOUD!)
